Leila A. McNeill is the co-author of the Plutarch Award nominated book Forces of Nature, The Women Who Changed Science, and the forthcoming narrative non-fiction book A Candle in the Cosmos from MIT Press. She is also the co-editor of the forthcoming 4-volume edited volume of Women, Gender, and Science in Victorian Culture from Routledge.

Leila lives in Dallas, TX with her husband and three weird dogs. In her free time, she can be found in her garden covered in dirt, cooing over her houseplants, or reading a book with a dog on her lap.
